Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass, a Greek-American musician and the founding member Motley Crue's heavy-metal group, is an American Greek-American musician. Lee is the long-term drummer for Motley Crue, and also founded Methods of Mayhem, a rapper-oriented metal group. The musician has also explored solo musical projects. Lee is an avid PETA supporter and a strong advocate for the rights of animals. Lee has written Terry Prather in protest of Tilikum's treatment of the animal in 2010. Lee believed that the animal should be released, and he stated that SeaWorld would not comply since Tilikum is their main donor of the sperm. Lee stated that he was horrified by SeaWorld's cruel and twisted methods for obtaining Tilikum Sperm. Lee claimed that he'd not want to see trainers dying, since these tragedies resulted from whales' aversion to being held in captivity.
