Linda Edna Cardellini's parents include businessmen Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). She was born in Redwood City in California. She comes from Italian, German (from the paternal maternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish heritage. Linda was the eldest child of California was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Acting became her passion as a ten year old when she was cast as a singer in a school's annual Christmas production. She performed in school plays as well as local community theater. Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989) is better known under her stage title Lily James, is an English actor from England. Her acting debut was with Just William in 2010, which was a British television show. Cinderella (2015) is her first film following the time she portrayed Lady Rose MacClare (2012-2015) in Downton Abbey, a time-based drama. James was then cast as Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV adaptation of War & Peace in 2016. James has appeared in a variety of films, including Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018, and The Dig 2021, as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! We're Back (2019) as well as Yesterday (2018). She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2022 in her role as Pamela Anderson, the star of Pam & Tommy.
