Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue A. Ellis Taylor, American producer and actress. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actor and producer who is involved in the world of film and television. Her career began as an actress in theatre before going on to make appearances in numerous TV series, mainstream and independent films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make appearances on BET's acclaimed television series The Book of Negroes. She made her professional acting debut as Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest in 1995. The actress has appeared as a character on Broadway with roles in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. Film-wise, she's best known for performances such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. On television, her part in the ABC's crime drama High Incident is well known.
