American musician and actor Awkwafina made her debut with humorous songs that dealt with sexuality and racial identities with a an incisive and humorous perspective, before expanding her reach into Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her first musical encounter. She played the trumpet. After a classical and jazz education She delved into hip-hop in her teen years. The singer was seeking to further her career in acting. Her film credits include films like Neighbors 2 Storks, and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered several notable parts, including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. This June, she released her EP "In Fina We Trust".
